Pat was born November 26, 1942 to the late Webster and Virginia Erwin Hubbell in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Memphis State University and spent her entire career as a social worker for the State of TN. Pat's compassion and empathy for those in need led her to play a role in the building of the Memphis Child Advocacy Center. In 1967, she married Joe Sharp of 53 years. They resided in Memphis until 1998 when they relocated to Cleveland, TN, where they retired.
Pat was an avid reader and knitter who loved playing bridge. She was immensely creative in drawing, painting, and fashion. She loved shopping and always had her purse at her side. Pat was always ready for the next adventure with Joe in one of his classic cars.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Franklin Sharp.
She is survived by a sister, Terry Collins; a brother, Webb Hubbell (Suzy); two daughters, Virginia "Ginnie" Geater (Matt) and Leslie Bird; three grandchildren, Sarah Kate Geater (14), Colin Bird (9), and Preston Bird (7).
