Peggy Sue Nunez

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Peggy Sue Thrasher Nunez, 67, of Corinth will be held at 2pm on Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time.

Peggy passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Alcorn County to the late Dalton and Lela Mae Thrasher. She was a member of Foote St. Church of Christ. She enjoyed being with her family and taking afternoon walks in her neighborhood.

She is survived by her son, Millard Thrasher (Rebecca); daughter, Dolores Perez; grandchildren, Dylan Thrasher (Madison), Daniel Wilson, Robert Greenlee, Lucille Manguila, Christina Manguila Vasquez, Brian Manguila Vasquez, Andrea Manguila Vasquez, and Andela Manguila Vasquez; sisters, Darnell Dildy and Gladys Barnett (Tommy); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Robert, Bobby Dalton, Thomas Hill, James Marcus and Joseph Edward; and sisters, Martha Foust, Mary Brooks, Lila Jane Brooks, Annie Bell Thrasher.
