R. D. Samples

Funeral service for R.D. Samples 85 are set for 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Tate Baptist Church with Bro. Mickey Trammel officiating. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery.

Mr. Samples died March 10, 2011 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. He was born March 25, 1925 to the late Porter and Lulu Guntharp Samples. He was owner of Samples Meat Co for 20 years, active member of Tate Baptist Church, 32 degree Mason.

Preceded in death by his parents, Brother Lotis Samples, Sisters Lema Jackson, Luree Baker, Gladys Bingham, Audrey Tidwell.

Survived by his wife of 58 years Kathryn Hathcock Samples, Daughters Melinda and Michelle Samples, Brother Dexter (Ruth) Sample, Sisters-in-Law Ann Samples and Christine Johnson, Brothers-in-Law Jimmy Wayne (Betty) Hathcock all of Corinth, MS. And Gene Baker. Host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be deacons of Tate Baptist Church

Visitation is from from 11:00 to service time at the church
