

Celebration of life services for Ralph Hurley will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Haskell Sparks and Bro. Randy Bostick officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Cemetery. He was born March 21, 1930 to the late Willie Ralph and Celia Blasingame Hurley, he went to be with the Lord July 13, 2015 at his residence.
Ralph worked for the City of Corinth for 17 years as City Building Inspector, serving under mayor’s John D. Mercier, Jack Holt, E.S. Bishop and Jerry Latch. He began working for Johnson Motors and Mr. Dewey Kemp, and was the owner of Hurley Repair Shop for over 55 years. He was an avid gardener and loved to work on small engines.He served three and half years in the Air Force as Aircraft Mechanic, and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was Preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond Beecher Hurley.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Charlene Wallace Hurley, Son: Wallace (Wally ) Hurley and wife Wendy, Daughter: Tina Hurley Bugg all of Corinth Grandchildren: Kyle ( Kristy ) Bugg and Maddox of Murfreesboro, Tn.,Shannon Bugg of Corinth; Kristi ( Austin ) Heim of Fairbank, IA.
Pallbearers: Bill King, W.D. Smith, Dee Cook, Jerry Brawner, Gary Messener and Ken Wallace
Honorary pallbearers: Mayor Tommy Irwin, past and present City Officials.
Visitation is 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
