RL Dixon

R.L. Dixon, 90, of Mississippi and Florida entered his eternal rest on July 10th, 2025. The visitation will take place at Ocala Cornerstone Church from 4-6 PM. The funeral service will begin at 6 PM. Pastor Aaron Sizemore and Pastor Daniel Kyle will be officiating at Ocala Cornerstone Church. There will be an interment in Walnut, Mississippi.

He was born on October 15th, 1934 to Orlander and Lovie Dixon in Rural Pocahontas (now known as Corinth Mississippi).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Dula Dixon, son, Daniel Lynn Dixon, and daughter, Mary Jean Dixon.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Bobo, Lorraine Mykytka, and Ramona Medlin; sons, Ricky Dixon (Jemima), Jeff Dixon (Teresa), Steve Dixon (Carrie), John Dixon (Jannie); brother, Junior Dixon; twenty grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild; and special longtime friends, Joe DeAngelo, Joe Moore, Mark Bergeron, and Martha Bracewell.

His loving family is saddened by his absence but rejoicing because he is with Jesus!

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes any donations to be made towards the burial through Mr. John Dixon.
