Sue Smith

Ms. Smith died Wednesday June 6, 2012 at North MS. Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired from Kendrick Head Start as the head cook and bus driver with over 20 years of service. She was owner of Nana’s Place Consignment Shop on Shiloh Road and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Junior Smith, Son: Ricky Smith, Parents: Grady and Ida Dee Goff Jackson, Sisters: Juanita Miller, Jean Fowler Jenkins, Jessie Griffin, Brothers: Charles Jackson, Larry Jackson.

She is survived by her fiance: John Poindexter of Corinth, Son: Shane Smith & his wife of Hernando, Ms., Daughters: Darlene Clement of Corinth, Kathy Moore and husband Charles of Michie, Tn., Brother: Grady Jackson & his wife Louise of Counce, Tn., Sister: Sharon Jackson of Corinth, Ms. Grandchildren: Hayden and Harrison Smith, Todd South, Seandee Sipe, Mark and Chris Moore. Great-grandchildren: Hailey Mayes, Ben Moore, Courtney South, Dalton South, Emma Moore, Peyton Moore.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home and Friday 12:00 p.m. until service time at Trinity Baptist Church.
