Thomas Wayne Arnold

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service with Military Honors for Thomas Wayne Arnold, 84, is set for 2:00 pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Quillian officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family and Friends Gathering will be Thursday from 12:00 to service time.

Wayne died May 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 16, 1940 in Alcorn Co. to the late Bynum Arnold and Alma Morgan Moore. He attended Kossuth School and then joined the US Army, he later joined the US Navy. He was a retired truck driver, enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and active in the American Legion.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joyce Buchanan and Doris Stoddard; and nephew, Robert Shawl.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Campbell (John); grandchildren, William Arnold, John Campbell, III; brother, David Arnold (Tina); special friend, Martha Holland; nephews, Freddie Buchanan, Blake Shawl (Sherry), and Wallace Braddock; nieces, Misty Fine (Shannon), Jessica and Katie; good friend, Jessie Jefferies; and a host of other family and friends.
