W. C. Smith

A Celebration of Life Service for W. C. Smith is set for 2:00 pm Saturday at Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Cody Hill, Bro. Titus Mathis and Bro. Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery. A Family and Friends Gathering will be on Friday from 5:00 pm to service time Saturday at the church.

W. C. died November 26, 2025 at his residence. He was born September 26, 1941 in Alcorn Co. to the late Arlin and Iren Smith. He was a lifelong member of Brush Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for over 60 years. He worked as a truck driver, logger and in the sawmill. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, A.J. Smith and Thomas Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evie Pannell Smith; sons, Randy Smith (Maribeth) and Henry Smith (Crystal); brother, Amos Smith (Kay); sister, Kathy Wilbanks(Tim); grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Carson Smith, Kaleigh Lambert, Austin Morrison, Layla Beth Smith, and Aidan Smith; great grandchildren, Oaklynn, Johnny, Journey, Briley, Dannis, and Little Henry; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers are Roy Hill Crow, Carson Smith, Ricky Thrasher, Timmy Wilbanks, James Smith, Jimmy Tate Waldon, Ronnie Hunt, Jordan Smith, Chuck Smith, and Junior Marolt.

Honorary pallbearers are Aidan Smith, G.A. Voyles, Keith Marolt, and James Studdard.
