A Celebration of Life Service for Joseph Wayne Burkhalter is set for 2:00pm Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Pellizzer officiating.
Wayne Burkhalter, 77, died December 18, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born November 28, 1948 in Corinth to the late Johnny Joseph and Floella Burkhalter. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Johnny Ray Burkhalter; and sisters, Evelyn and Nora Glidewell.
He is survived by his daughters, Katie Crum, Kelly Hogan, Shelbie Crum, and Ellen Burkhalter; sons, Terry Burkhalter, Johnny Wayne Burkhalter, Robert M. Burkhalter, and James Maddox; grandchildren, Jackson, Billie, Kayden, Katie-Beth, Avery, Ryan, Dylan, Hayden, Olivia, Felicity, Carrington, Kailey, and Bentley; and a host of other family and friends.
