It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Alva Snider (née Collins) at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre in Cornwall, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 98 years.
Beloved wife of the late Ivan Snider. Loving mother of: Shelley Snider, Gary Snider (Cindy), Holly Seguin and Dale Snider (Kim). Treasured grandmother of: Brianna (Erik), Laurier (Sally), Joel, Jordan, the late Joshua, Graham (Emily), Connor (Katie) and Paige (Tom). Proud great grandmother of: Henslie, Jovie, Ellis, Sammy and Oakley. Dear daughter of the late Merton and the late Ruth (née McConnell) Collins.
In keeping with Alva’s wishes cremation has taken place.

A private Service will be held at a later date.
