McDONALD, Annie “Anna” – at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Annie (O’Shea) McDonald of Cornwall; age 102, one month shy of her 103rd birthday. Beloved wife of the late David J. Hughie Duncan McDonald. Loving mother of Rosemary Gaines (John Torunski) of St. Andrews West, Robert “Bobby” McDonald of Cornwall. Predeceased by her daughter Maureen McDonald, her son Hugh McDonald, and son-in-law Glen Gaines. Cherished grandmother of Brent Taillon (Christine), Kelly Southorn (Bill), Corey Gaines (Kelly Meek), Erin Pike (Wayne), Kevin Gaines (Kayleigh Fogarty), Amber Carrick (Adam), great grandmother of Michelle, Lena, Holly, Kohl, Adleigh, Ivy, Sawyer, Glenn, Jordan, KayCee and great great grandmother of four. Dear daughter of the late Patrick William O’Shea and the late Catherine Bridget McDougall. Predeceased by five brothers Benedict, Stollan, Anthony “Tony” (her sister in-law and best friend Irene O’Shea), Ambrose, Patrick O’Shea and two sisters Christina “Tina” McDonell and Mae O’Connor. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West, (613-932-8482) Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 Noon until the time of Funeral. Funeral will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrews Church at 2 p.m. Spring Interment, St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery.
