Arthur Joseph Watson

WATSON, Arthur – at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Friday, February 19, 2016 after a difficult battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Arthur Watson of Cornwall, proud owner and operator of A. Watson Excavation from 1967~2005; age 84. He leaves his loving wife of 62 years, Réjeanne (Jean) Watson (nee Carrière). Dear father of Michel Watson (Debbie), André Watson (Donna) and Carole Flaro (Kelvin). Predeceased by son Ronald Watson. Sadly missed by grandchildren Stephanie, Natalie, Micheline, Casey, Jason, Joshua, Justin and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Leonard (Ranger) Watson, two brothers Jean Paul (Johnny) Watson (Sheila), George Watson (Isabel), one sister Margaret (Margot) Montpetit (Eddie), four step brothers Léo Proulx, René Proulx, Rodolphe Proulx, William Watson and three step sisters Yvette Major, Lucienne Carrière and Irene Lagrue. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday, February 24, 2016 for Mass of Christian Burial in Precious Blood Church at 1:30 p.m. Cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral.
