Barry Maxwell Rowe

Beloved and devoted companion to Lorraine Lalonde for over 17 years. Cherished father of Daniel, Carrie, and Shannon. Barry is predeceased by his son, Shane.

Proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Barry will be deeply missed by his siblings, Warren, Linda, and Sandra; his stepdaughter, Lynn Johnson, and her family; Lorraine’s children and grandchildren—Sammy (Carrie), Billy (Loree), Katie (Danny), and their children Ella, Victoria, Ruby, Weston, and Frankie; and the many friends who knew him for his warmth, humour, unwavering spirit, and deep love for animals—especially dogs, including his beloved Max and Dusty. He was also a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the RCAF Wing, 240 Water Street West in Cornwall. In accordance with Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes – West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482).
