ROY, Bernard Maurice – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday March 22, 2017. He was 63. He leaves his loving wife of 39 years, Laurieann (Bergeron) Roy. Dear father of Cory and Christopher Roy and step-father of Beverly Ceasor. Sadly missed by one grandchild Owen and one step-grandchild Nicki. Survived by 3 brothers, Francis (Lil), Rene (Naiomi) and Richard Roy (Beverly). Also survived by his father-in-law Douglas Bergeron (late Myrtle (Trudell) Bergeron), brothers-in-law, Michael (Linda), Maurice (Jennifer), Douglas (Tammy) and sisters-in-law, Trudy (Jimmy) and Darlene (late James). Predeceased by his parents, Levi and Irene (Oliver) Roy, sisters, Corrine Roy, Eileen Ceasor and brothers, Rene and Benjamin Roy. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Monday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Tuesday March 28, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations (by cheque) to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Cornwall - Carefor would be appreciated by the family.
