DAIGNEAULT, Carmen – passed peacefully on Monday October 13, 2025 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Leo Daigneault. Loving mother of Monique Marleau (Luc) and Pierre Daigneault (Leslie). Cherished grandmother of Stéphan (Cindy), Josée (Sasha), Annick (Brad), and Pascale (David), and great-grandmother of Yanick, Mercedes, Mikael, Landon, Delilah, Noelle, Beau, Sofie and Lucia. Dear daughter of the late Raymond Labrosse and the late Dora St. Denis. Survived by her sister Michelle Roy (Raymond) and by her sister-in-law Thérèse Bisson.
Carmen was a woman of remarkable strength, intellect, and compassion. She loved gardening, learning, travelling, and was always up to date on global affairs and politics. She will be remembered for her wisdom, kindness, and generosity.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. W., (613-932-8482). A private family service will take place at a later date followed by an inurnment. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
