DAYE, Carol Anne – peacefully, at Southbridge Long Term Care on Friday May 9, 2025 at the age of 81 years. Loving mother of Heath Crump (Betty-Ann) of Martintown and Angela Villeneuve (Luc) of St. Andrew’s West. Cherished grandmother of Nathan Crump, Samantha Crump, Benjamin Crump and Nicholas Villeneuve and Scott Villeneuve. Dear sister of Barbara Fenton (Ray) of Long Sault. She will be deeply missed by her best friend Sally Grant. Predeceased by her parents Gordon Daye, Jessie (née Reddick) Daye, and her siblings Joyce, Susan Parent and Donald Daye. Carol devoted many years of her life to nursing with compassion and care at the Cornwall General Hospital and MacDonnell Memorial. Formerly married for 21 years to James Crump. The family will be in attendance at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039) on Thursday May 15th from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Followed by interment at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
