Charles Lazette

Charlie was the devoted and beloved husband of Donna (Hamilton) for 65 years. Cherished Dad of Jeffrey, Carrie and Christopher. Charlie will be deeply missed by his treasured Grandchildren Stacey, Taylor and Arianna. Loving Brother of Marjorie, Sylvia, Gerald and Barbara. Pre-deceased by his Parents Charles and Hazel Lazette.

Charlie dedicated his professional life to education as a Teacher at G.V.S.S. and S.J.S.S. He not only loved playing basketball, Charlie enjoyed coaching as well. Through sports he taught teamwork, discipline, and the value of perseverance.

Charlie’s strong faith guided much of his life. He generously gave his time to various Church organizations including St. Vincent de Paul, Marriage Preparation, and Marriage Encounter.

Family camping, travel and cruising with friends brough Charlie great pleasure. Charlie will be forever loved, deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan West Branch (20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall). A Mass of Remembrance will take place on Saturday April 18th, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish (2900 Second Street East, Cornwall) at 11:00 a.m. A private inurnment will take place at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery (15570 County Rd 2 R.R. #3, Ingleside) at a later date.

Memorial donations to The Children's Treatment Centre or the Carefor Hospice Cornwall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
