McCORMICK, Christena Theresa – peacefully, with family by her side, at Ian Anderson House Hospice, Oakville, on Monday September 30, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Loving mother of Jamie Anne McDonald of Toronto. Cherished sister of Annie McDonald (late Alfie) of Cornwall, Bernard McCormick (Elaine) of Maitland, Monica Stroud (Peter) of Halifax, Isabelle McCormick of (Mississauga) and the late Hubert McCormick. Dear aunt of Amanda McCormick (Sean), Kim Dirschl (Hal), Juliana Kroscen, Karley Wood (Gabe), Dwayne McDonald (Christine), Jeremy McCormick, Stefan Kroscen (Sara) and Joshua Kroscen. Proud great aunt of Emmett Lillian McCormick Heeney, Emma and Heather Dirschl and Cylie and Cody McDonald. Dear daughter of the late Dorothy (Kerr) and the late Francis Patrick McCormick of Lochiel Ontario. Chris will be fondly remembered for her love of teaching, music and gardening. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday October 17, 2024 at St. Catherine of Sienna Cemetery Greenfield Ontario at 11 a.m. followed by reception at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home West Branch.
