Beloved husband of the late Colette Montpetit (née Lefebvre).
Loving father of Joanne Gilmour (Mark) and Daniel Montpetit. Cherished grandfather of Kayla Lamesse (Roger) and Erica Lascelle (Ethan). Proud great-grandfather of Kalista, Benjamin and Logan. Dear brother of Patrick Montpetit (Diane), Pierre Montpetit (late Mavis), Gérard Montpetit (Jackie) and Nicole Hammond (late Jim). He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Romeo and Rose (née Léger) Montpetit, his brothers Bernie Montpetit (late Susie), Gilles Montpetit (late Violet) and his sister Réjeanne Pyke (late Perry).
In keeping with Claude’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall, ON, on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00AM.
