Beloved wife of the late James Lauber and then the late Roger Sabourin.
Loving mother of Daniel Lauber (Tammy) and Donald Lauber (Leeann). Adored grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 35. Dear sister of Cheryl Huminiuk. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Also survived by her specials friends Bill Campbell and Connie McGillis.
Predeceased by her parents Delbert Plumadore and Leola Martin, her son Louis “Timmy”, her daughter Julie Ann and three grandsons Damien, Craig and Chad.
Della was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed bid euchre, cribbage and reading.
The family will be in attendance at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home (341 Pitt Street Cornwall, ON 613-938-1039) on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Carefor Hospice Cornwall, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
