Diane Billard

BILLARD, DIANE – Peacefully, with her family by her side, Diane Billard passed away at Cornwall Hospice on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Robert Billard, and cherished partner and friend of Robert Leclair. Loving mother of Andre Billard (Geneviève), Frank Billard (Elisha Bedingfield), and Matt Billard (Chelsea). Proud grandmother of Melodie, Chanelle, Alexia, Tyson, Benjemin, and Emily, who brought her endless joy and laughter. Diane will be remembered by her siblings Robert Depratto (Louise), Adele Depratto (Val), and Rachelle Depratto (Claude), as well as by her in-laws Joanne and Mark McDougall, Bob, Kim, Dave, and Rick. She was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Eva (née Pidgeon) Depratto. She will also be deeply missed by Chantal Williamson (Gordon), Natalie Leclair (Christian Gagnon).

Diane was a talented and passionate painter, she found joy and peace in creating art that reflected her creativity. She will be deeply missed by her many dear friends whose lives she touched with warmth, kindness and laughter. Diane’s generous spirit and caring nature will be remembered always.

Family and friends are invited to gather at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-1039), on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Félix de Valois Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment.
