Donald had a love for the outdoors. An active member of the Cornwall Outdoors Club, he enjoyed the long treks, and everything from snowshoeing to kayaking with his fellow members. He had a love for camping, swimming and travel.
Donald will be forever missed by his wife Ligia Rogers and by his brothers Tim Gadbois (Jocelyne) of Cornwall and Ken Gadbois (Louise) of Russell.
He leaves his nieces and nephews; Jason Gadbois (Renee) and Graham Gadbois, Carolyn (Will) and Caitlin (Johnny), along with his grandnieces and grandnephews, many friends, and extended family.
Predeceased by his parents Garnet and Vivian (née Leroux) Gadbois and joins his good friend the late Gordon Heward.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482).
Donations in her name to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Vista Centre for Brain Injury Services (Cornwall), would be appreciated by the family.
