Edward Mercer

MERCER, Edward – Peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2016. Mr. Edward Mercer of Cornwall; age 69 years. A most beloved husband of Linda Mercer. Loving and cherished father of Paul (Susan) Lambert and Michelle (Reg Marleau) Mercer. Proud and loving grandfather of Alex and Michael Lambert and Jacob and Rebecca Marleau. Son of Margery and the late Edward Mercer. Dear brother of Ian Mercer of England. Cherished brother-in-law of Erik (Mona) Laursen, Lillian Positano, and Norma Newbigging. Uncle of Nicola Heaton (Chris) and family. Edward will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Edward was an avid curler, square dancer and biking, he was an Engineer and Plant Manager with Canadian Technical Tape. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St. Matthews Lutheran Church. The family will be in attendance at the Church on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., all are welcome to attend, a Masonic Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donation to St. Matthews Lutheran Church or the CAREFOR Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
