SPAGNOLO, Elisabetta (Trimboli) – At St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Saturday February 11, 2017. She was 80. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Spagnolo. Dear mother of Frank Spagnolo (Donna), Joe Spagnolo (Doris) and Lisa McDonald (Robert). Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Anthony (Kayla), Amanda Ferreira (Michael), Nicolas (Melanie), Jeremie, Ryan, Katherine and one great grandson, Joey. Survived by one sister, Maria Ferraro of Adelaide, Australia. Predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe and Maria Anna (Portolesi) Trimboli, one brother Frank Trimboli and 2 sisters, Francesca Zappia and Giuseppina Trimboli. Cherished daughter-in-law of Francesco and Elisabetta Spagnolo (both deceased). Beloved sister-in-law of Rocco (Maria), Saverio (Carmela), Giuseppe (Antonietta), Pasquale (Rosa), Rosario (Brenda), and Paolo (Caterina) Spagnolo and Teresa LaSala (Ralph). Predeceased by in laws Domenico and Maria Spagnolo, Maria Sergi (Saverio) and Caterina Spagnolo. Also pre-deceased by brothers-in-law Francesco Zappia, Antonio Trimboli, Giovanni Ferraro and sister-in-law Mary Trimboli (Barbaro) who was like a mother to her. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday February 15 2017 from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:20am. Funeral Mass Thursday February 16, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 11am. Entombment, Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
