STEPHENSON, Elizabeth “Betty” (O’Neil) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday August 28, 2015. She was 72. Dear mother of Kathy Marsolais (Wayne) and Doreen Mayer (Bernie). Sadly missed by, 5 grandchildren, Sara (Scott), Stacey (Tyler), Andrew (Christine), Melissa (Jeff), Chad (Veronique) and 10 great grandchildren Cayleb, Savanna, Brooke, Brody, Ella, Myra, Max, Jake, Tyson and Masson. Loving Companion of Bob Carriere. Survived by 4 brothers, Norman (Norma), Gerald (Claudette), Gordon (Lise), Ronnie (Annie) and one sister Doreen. Predeceased by her parents, John and Laura (Lepage) O’Neil, 5 sisters, Marjorie, Leona, Muriel, Elaine, Darlene and 5 brothers, Johnny, Donald, Lawrence, Richard and Lloyd. Also survived by her former husband, Douglas Stephenson. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass Tuesday September 1, 2015 at St. Columban’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery, at a later date.
