VAN DER VEEN, Elizabeth – Peacefully, at the Embassy West on Monday, October 14, 2013. Elizabeth van der Veen of Cornwall; age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerardus Johannes van der Veen. Cherished mother of Pieter van der Veen (Claire Boutin) of St. Andrews West and Fina van der Veen of Ottawa. Loving Oma of Fina’s two sons Andrew and Ryan (Melissa Viau) and great grandmother of Isaac van der Veen. Survived by her sister Elly Klomp. Predeceased by her parents Pieter Hendrik Kok and Sophia Frederika Lindenburg. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). A burial will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery on October 19, 2013 at 11 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church.
