SANSEVERINO, Gaetana – passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday January 10, 2022. Gaetana (née Altieri) Sanseverino of Cornwall at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Sanseverino. Loving mother of Barbato Sanseverino (Ruth), Lucia Teodoro (Francisco), Angelo Sanseverino (Kylie) all of Cornwall and Michel “Mike” Sanseverino of Toronto. Predeceased by her son Andrea Sanseverino. Cherished grandmother of Francisco Jr. Teodoro (Tonya), Joey Teodoro (Nathalie), Nicholas Sanseverino (Kristen), Nathan Sanseverino (Tommi-Lee) and great grandmother of Cassidy, Avery, McKinlee, Juliet, Nash, Navy, Leo and Libby. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dear daughter of the late Michele Altieri and the late Caterina Montesarchio. Predeceased by her brothers Carmine, Vincenzo, Antonio, Domenico Altieri and her sisters Maria Matrisciano and Anna DeLuca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St West (613-932-8482). All services will be held privately.
