BELMORE, George - Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell site, On Friday July 19, 2013. George Joseph Belmore of Cornwall age; 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Carmel (Wood) Belmore (2005). Dear father of Beverley Runions (George), Shirley Belmore, Gary (Diane), Ronald (JoAnn) and Lorne (Elizabeth) Belmore. Predeceased by his son Robert (1984) and infant daughter Barbara (1947) Belmore. Cherished grandfather of Karen Dixon (Neil), Julie Patterson, Ryan (Deidre Taylor), Kevin, Krystal Brouillet (Rob), Micheil (Danielle) and Glenn Belmore. Great-Grandchildren Melanie and Andrew Dixon, Loghan and Keagan Belmore, Ethan and Emery Patterson. Survived by his sister and brother, Harold (Jennie) Belmore and Stella (Fern) Fontaine. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Lillian (Lebrun) Belmore and also by his brother Alfred (Eleanore) Belmore. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday, July 23, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in St Columban’s Church at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Columban’s Cemetery. The family will be in attendance Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of Service on Tuesday.
