Beloved husband and best friend of 58 years to Anne Maclaren (née MacGillivary). Loving father of: Grant Maclaren and Bruce Maclaren (Katrina). Cherished grandfather of Alexandria Maclaren and Ronin Maclaren. Treasured brother of: Euginia Low (John), and Bruce Maclaren; and brother-in-law of Bob Blakeley (late Heather).
Ian is predeceased by his parents Alec and Hilda (née MacDonald) Maclaren; as well as his brother Arthur Maclaren.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at Cornwall Hospice for the incredible care that was given to Ian.
In keeping with Ian’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL on Monday October 27, 2025, between the hours of 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Prior to a Service of Remembrance that will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 11:00AM.
