Beloved wife of the late Stanley Kustec.
Cherished grandmother of Patricia Kustec, Brian Kustec (Kim) and Laura K(Marc). Proud great-grandmother of Jonathan, Nathan, Lea and Ariana. Treasured sister of Joe Sabo and Victor Sabo. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents Viktor and Maria (née Bann) Sabo, her son Thomas Kustec and her daughter Rosemary Kustec.
In keeping with Irene’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Saint-Vladimir Catholic Church, 3470 St. Joseph Blvd. East, Montreal, QC on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 11:00AM.
As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to St Vladimir (Mission Slovene) would be appreciated by the family.
