Jacqueline (Haineault) Sheney

Reunited with her late husband Raymond Sheney.

Jackie leaves behind her loving children Mary Ann Cornett (Bob), Robert Sheney (Sherri) and Danny Sheney (Kathy), who will miss her unconditional love, unwavering support and her wonderful sense of humour. Her positive and sunny outlook on life made her a source of inspiration to always find the good in any situation. She radiated gratitude and made so many people smile. She will be deeply missed.

Treasured grandmother of Meghan, Ryan, Julia, Alicia, Jason (Milca) and Melissa (Yannick). Proud great-grandmother of Rachel, Emilie, Sarah, Evelyn and Caleb.

Predeceased by her parents Numa and Yvonne (née Lussier) Haineault, her brothers John Haineault (Claudette), George Haineault (Beverly) and Guy Haineault (late Helen) as well as her sister Jeanne D’Arc “Joan” Lapensée (late Frank).

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital (6th floor) and at Hospice Cornwall for their kind and compassionate care.

The family will be in attendance at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home (341 Pitt Street Cornwall, ON 613-938-1039) on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at St. Columban Parish, 36 Fourth Street West, Cornwall, ON, at 11:00 a.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
