

Janice leaves behind her loving husband of 41 years, Ian Poapst. Loving mother of Amanda (Patrick) Langsford of Edmonton, AB and Bradley Poapst of Langley, BC. Proud grandmother of Avery and Carter Langsford. Loving sister to Brian (Sue) Marshall of Norristown, PA. Predeceased by her parents Ruby and Hubert Marshall and brother Michael (Sylvia) Marshall.
Loving sister-in-law of Mary Frances "Francy" Poapst of Peterborough, ON, Carol (Barrie) Michael of Beaumont, AB, and Brad Poapst (Christine Booma) of Paris, FR, Cathy (late Luc) Dubeau and the late Gordon Poapst.
Janice will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members as well as the many children to whom she was a bonus mom.
Janice will also be dearly missed by her card making class and shuffleboard family, as well as her camping and kayaking group. Janice was as an active member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Martintown.
Family will be in attendance on Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Martintown from 9:00 am till time of Memorial Service at 11:30 am, with Rev. Ian MacMillan presiding. Committal at a later date.
