Maurice Clermont

Born on February 9, 1940, Maurice was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce Clermont (née Sauvé), with whom he shared many cherished years.

Maurice leaves behind his loving children: Cindy Clermont, Sandy Menard, and Shirley Merkley (Chris). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Emily, Adam, Jesse, Cody, and Bailey “Birdy”, and by his great-grandchildren: Aden, Ariel, Acen, Marky III, Kierra, Jaden, Ryder, Ryley, Reecie and Eastyn. He was predeceased by his grandson, Marky II, whose memory he held dear.

Maurice is survived by his siblings Roger Clermont, Linda Munro, Jeannette Zeron, and Paulette Carrière.

He is predeceased by his parents, Victor Clermont and Rosalie Clermont (née Larose), as well as his siblings Raymond Larose, Paul Clermont, Richard Clermont, Ronnie Clermont, Eileen Boisclair, and Simone Lafave.

Maurice was a man of quiet strength and enduring love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories shared by those who knew him.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 613-938-1039. In keeping with Maurice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on a later date.
