Michael Andrew Brand

BRAND, Michael – passed away on Sunday July 20, 2025 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 67. Dear son of the late George and Georgette (née Deneault) Brand. Cherished brother of Don Brand (Carol) and Lynn Heatley (Frank). Mike will be fondly remembered by nieces Lisa Ruest (Chris) and Sara Fawthrop (Michael), by nephews Ryan Brand (Sandra) and Tom Heatley (Jodi) and by his great niece and nephews Mia, Jacob and Isaac. Mike was the very dear friend of Ian Poapst, Vincent Lukenda and John Viger, Robert Boudrias and Bob Facer from Marlborough Place #4. Michael will be missed by his Godmother Jacqueline Larkin and by his many cousins. The family extends a special thank you to the ICU staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital and the Marlborough Place #4 staff for their care, kindness and support.

The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. W., (613-932-8482) on Tuesday July 29, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of Service. Mass of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025 in St. Pius X Church, 21 Bethune Ave., Long Sault at 11 a.m. An interment of cremated remains will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
