It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Nicole Laura Ferguson (née Lauzon) on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, surrounded by her family at Carefor Hospice Cornwall, at the age of 66 years.
Born on October 23rd, 1959, in Cornwall, Ontario, Nicole was the loving daughter of Paul and Pauline Lauzon.
Nicole was the beloved wife of Garry Ferguson, with whom she shared 49 years of unconditional love and devotion. She is forever treasured in the heart of her daughters, Chantal Lalonde, and Melissa Ferguson (Stephanie May). Resting peacefully alongside her dearly loved son, Peter Ferguson. Cherished Mémère of Khloe and Alexis Lalonde. Dear sister of Lise Jodoin (Andre), and sister-in-law of Lawrence Ferguson (Diane). Predeceased by her sister Gail Dumoulin (Nephew Mikey), and sister-in-law Beverly Ropchan (Chris). She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Nicole will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the profound love she gave so freely to her family.
In keeping with Nicole’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Nicole’s life will be held at Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home – West Branch (20 Seventh Street, West) with visiting hours from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday January 3rd, 2026. Interment at Notre-Dame Cemetery (17945 South Branch Road, Cornwall) will take place in the springtime.
