Odette Lafontaine

Épouse bien-aimée de feu Robert Pierre Lafontaine; mère chérie de : André Lafontaine (Christine), Lucie Lafontaine et Jacques Lafontaine (Jocelyne Sabourin); grand-mère chérie de : Lianne, Marissa, Chloé et Mia; chère sœur de Mariel St. Jean (Jean Pierre), Madeleine Guevremont (feu Pierre), Lucien Gauthier (Caroline) et Michelle Lalonde (Gary).

Odette fut prédécédée par ses parents Lionel et Lucienne Gauthier et sa sœur Nicole Gauthier-Sabourin (feu Claude).

La famille sera présente au Salon Funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan, succursale de l’ouest, 20 septième rue ouest, Cornwall, le lundi 17 juin 2024 entre 9h et 11h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles qui auront lieu à l’Église St-Félix-de-Valois, 620 boul. Glengarry, Cornwall à 11h30. Un don commémoratif à la Société d’Alzheimer de Cornwall et Région serait apprécié par la famille. It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Odette Lafontaine (née Gauthier) at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the age of 83.

Loving wife of the late Robert Pierre Lafontaine; cherished mother of: André Lafontaine (Christine), Lucie Lafontaine and Jacques Lafontaine (Jocelyne Sabourin); treasured grandmother of: Lianne, Marissa, Chloé and Mia; dear sister of Mariel St. Jean (Jean Pierre), Madeleine Guevremont (late Pierre), Lucien Gauthier (Caroline) and Michelle Lalonde (Gary).

Odette is predeceased by her parents Lionel and Lucienne Gauthier; and her sister Nicole Gauthier-Sabourin (late Claude).

Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 SEVENTH STREET W, CORNWALL on MONDAY June 17, 2024 between the hours of 9:00AM and 11:00AM prior to a Funeral Service that will be held at ST. FELIX DE VALOIS CATHOLIC CHURCH 620 GLENGARRY BLVD, CORNWALL at 11:30AM. Memorial Donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall and District would be appreciated by the family.
