Terriah, Omer Joseph – On Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He was 82. Beloved husband of Alice Terriah (née Leroux). Loving father of Daniel (Shelley), Sean (Karine), Natasha Scott (Zac), and stepfather of Rev. Daniel Gauthier and Jocelyne Gauthier. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Alexandra, Bryana, Alexis, Emily, Cathryn, Cameron and his siblings, Robert (Deb) and Brian (Sue).
He is predeceased by his parents, Cameron and Lena (née Lapensée) Terriah, stepson Paul Gauthier and siblings, Norma Sloan (Glenn), Roger, Gerald, and Anita Beauvais (late Gerald).
Cremation services are entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, Cornwall, ON at 11:00 am. Rite of committal will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St-Joseph Continuing Care Centre or the Cornwall Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
