Patricia Frances Roddy

Beloved wife of William Roddy. Mother of Gabrielle (Jordy, PEI) and Justin (Cornwall). Loving and devoted Nana to Lily (Montreal). Patricia is predeceased by her mother Amelia (Molly) Hornby, her brother Brian, and sister Heather. She will be kindly remembered by nieces and nephews and cousins in Southern Ontario, England, Switzerland and the USA.

Pat was a generous and good-hearted person. She was active in theatre, as both an actress and a director, dance and yoga. She went back to school at a later age and taught literacy in Cornwall. She will be gratefully remembered by her students at T.R. Leger and Tri-County Literacy.

Following Patricia’s wishes, cremation has already taken place.

The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, West Branch, (20 Seventh Street West) on Monday September 22nd from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and on Tuesday September 23rd from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The service will be held at St Columban Catholic Church (36 Fourth Street West) at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery (15570 County Rd 2 R.R. #3, Ingleside). The Family invites friends and family to share memories of Pat during the luncheon that will be held in the Funeral Homes reception hall following the interment.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the dedicated palliative care nurses, personal service workers, and doctors for their excellent support and compassion. The family will always remember the support of their dear friends and neighbours during this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tri-County Literacy, or The Ottawa Mission would be greatly appreciated by the family.
