Pearl Whitford

Passed away peacefully at the Southbridge Cornwall Nursing Home on May 12, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Earl Whitford. Loving mother of Arnold (Sandra), Dwaine (Joanne), the late Barbara Whitford (Rheal) and Sharon Wotherspoon (Allan). Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Brandon, Pam, Trevor, Karen, Ryan, Brent and Amanda. She will be sadly missed by 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eva Renwick (late Roy), Earl (late Isabel), Anita Jodoin (Morley) of Oshawa, Roger (Shirley), Elaine Durocher (late John), Florence Derochie (Wayne), Colleen McCourt (late Brian), her sister-in-law Hazel Craig (late Ferguson) and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents John (Louis) Lalonde and Bernadette Boisvenue, her siblings Pauline Anderson (late James), Georgina Desnoyers (late Ralph), Alexina Seguin (late Rene), Geraldine Delorme (late Paul), Louis, Lawrence (Jean) and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Friends and family will be received at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario (613) 938-1039 on Thursday, May 25th at 9 am until time of Memorial Service in the Funeral Home at 11 am. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery to follow.
