CÔTÉ, Rachel Agnes – passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Cornwall Hospice on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife for 58 years to Gilles Côté. Loving mother of Germaine Bozek, Lorraine Marchand (Robert) and Carole Côté (Terry) all of Cornwall. Proud grandmother of Tabitha (Ryan), Johnny, Adam (Kaile), Amanda (Nate), Ashtine (Aaron), Avery (Sarah), Braydon (Shyann) and great grandmother of Abigail, Athena, Emersyn, Makayla, Aliyah, Dayton, Kaydon, Keighland, Carter, Isaac, Levi and the late Kassadie. Cherished sister of Daniel Legault (Gladys), Richard Legault, Jean-Charles Legault (Nicole), Ramona Prieur (Lawrence), Paulette Amelotte (Larry), Denise Legault-Leriche (Steve), the late Bernard Legault (the late Sue) and the late Carmen Larkin (David) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents Roma Legault and Cecilia (née Quesnel). Rachel will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Liette Payette (Ron), her chosen daughter Dale Trepanier (Marcel), her god children Anita, Troy, the late Angel and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Wednesday November 6th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024 in St. Felix de Valois Church at 11 a.m. Followed by cremation.
