LALONDE, Rene Joseph – at the Ottawa General Hospital on May 28th, 2018 with family by his side; age 68 years. Loving husband of Gilberte “Gillie” (née Cardinal) Lalonde. Beloved father of Alain (Anna), Shawn, Laura-Lee, Jason (Trish) and the late Tania. Adored grandfather of Tyler, Michael, Ashleigh, Chelsea, Finley and Quinn. Cherished son of Gwendolyn (née Labelle) and the late Percy Lalonde. Dear brother of Sue (Ernie), Rusty (Dianne), Gary (Janice), Robert (Jamie), Raymond (Michelle), Christine (Scott) and Pauline. Predeceased by his siblings Bridgette & Mary and Mark. Rene will be lovingly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 for Service in Saint Andrew Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Saint Andrew Cemetery.
