Rita Antoine

At the St Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, Cornwall, Rita (Gregoire) Antoine died on Friday, May 9, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Antoine. Daughter of late Domina Gregoire and the late Emma Laplante. Cherished Mother of Claire Antoine and her husband Wayne Desrosiers of Cornwall, Ronald Antoine and his wife Mila of Ottawa, Joan Wyatt and her husband Rodney of Owen Sound, Carol Antoine-Ronson and her husband Jim of Port Hope, Laurie Antoine and her husband Ed LeBlanc of Ottawa, and she will be sadly missed by Gerry Samson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Geoffrey, Graham, Samantha and Daniel Wyatt, Gregory, Catherine and William Antoine, Benjamin, Rebecca and Meghan Ronson, Blake Samson, Madison and Alexandra Leblanc and 2 great-grandchildren Emma and Sophie Wyatt.

Sister of Aurore Lacroix. Predeceased by sister Rose Giroux and brothers Henri, Andre, Viateur, Roger and Fernand Gregoire.

The family of Rita Antoine will receive family and friends at the Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Columban’s Church, 36 Fourth Street West, Cornwall.
