LAPRADE, Rita- Passed away peacefully with her immediate family at her side at Janet MacDonnell Pavilion on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Rita Margaret (Taillon/Tyo) Laprade, of Cornwall; age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Francis Laprade. Loving mother of John Laprade (Marge Small) and Emily Bourgon (Donald). Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Peter Taillon and the late Laura (Elderbroom) Taillon. Predeceased by her son Terry Laprade, her daughter Rita Willems Laprade, six brothers Orval, Dennis, Hubert, Leonard, Douglas and Clarence Taillon and by seven sisters Mary-Ellen, Celina Lazette, Muriel Stewart, Mabel Jarvis, Julia Reynolds, Hazel Lazette and Theresa Barcier. Family in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street, West, (613-932-8482), from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, October 13, 2014 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3 pm. Cremation to follow. The family will be in attendance on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Monday from 1 pm until the time of Service.
