O’BYRNE, Rita Frances (Andre) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday January 23, 2013. She was 87. Beloved wife of the late Albert Harold O’Byrne. Dear mother of Karen (James Desrosiers). Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, Shandi (Stephen), Brandon (Fannie), Krista (Asim), Nathan and 5 great grandchildren, Kylie, Aiden, Logan, Dahlia and Elias. Also survived by 2 brothers, Leo Andre (Isabel), Gerald Andre (Shirley) and one sister Leona St. John. Predeceased by her parents, Romeo and Josephine (Prevost) Andre, brother Ernest (Colombe) and sister Louise. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Monday from 9:30 – 10:15am. Funeral Mass, Monday January 28, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
