BOURGON, Robert J. (Bob) - At the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge in Cornwall, Ontario on

Sunday afternoon, December 15th, 2013, Robert Joseph Bourgon passed away peacefully at the age of 90. He was a well known and well respected general contractor in the City of Cornwall. Beloved husband of Anita Marie GIROUARD who predeceased him in 2006. Devoted father of three daughters: Françoise Legault (Lawrence) of Ottawa, Jacqueline Markell (Richard) of Cornwall and Diane Knowlton (Michael) of Whistler, B.C. He was a grandfather to Michèle Dooley (Matt) of Ottawa, Dr. Pierre-Marc Legault of Toronto, Christopher Markell (Sophie Jean) of Cornwall, Andrée Markell (Marc Mainville) of Cornwall, Jamieson Knowlton (Karen Banting) of Toronto and Robbie Knowlton (Catherine) of Sydney, Australia. He was also a great-grandfather to Finn and William Dooley, Colin & Adrien Markell and Maxum Mainville. Dear son of the late Samuel Bourgon and the late Elise Charlebois. Predeceased by four sisters and by five brothers. He is survived by four sisters and by four brothers. Cremation. Funeral Arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482). Burial to take place at Notre Dame Cemetery, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 am. Visitation to follow from 12 noon until time of Funeral at 2 pm in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home.
