GIBBS, Robert (Bill) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Hospice Cornwall on Monday, April 7, 2014. Robert William Gibbs of Cornwall; age 78 years. Beloved long-time companion of Lise Panunzio. Cherished husband of the late Ruth Gibbs (Lockhart). Loving father of Mark Gibbs, Scott Gibbs, Sunday Kaidas, Linda Gibbs and step-father of Karen Laurin. Will be sadly missed by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Survived by brothers Grant and John and sisters Wilma and Lynne and long time friend Eddie Treagus. Loved son of the late Robert Gibbs Sr. and the late Wilma Gibbs (Gwynne). Predeceased by Muriel Laurin, the mother of his children and by his brother Peter. The family would like to thank Dr. Randlett and the staff at Hospice Cornwall, St-Elizabeth clinic and Bayshore nurses for their exceptional care and compassion.
