LECOMPTE, Robert Roger – peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at Cornwall Hospice at the age of 83 years. Just short of 58 years, Bob was the beloved husband of Georgette Lecompte (née Guindon). Loving father of Gerald (Joanne) and Don (Natalie). Cherished grandfather of Alexandra (Nick), Courtney (Andrew), Heaven (Nick), Cameron (Gabrielle) and Riley (MacKenzie). Dear son of the late Omer and the late Bertha (née Delorme) Lecompte. Survived by sister Claudette Seguin (Jean-Guy) and brothers, Albert (late Irene), Claude (late Peggy)( (Joyce) and Gilbert (Barbara). Predeceased by his son Roger and by sisters, Theresa Mayer (late Roland) and Gilberte Seguin (Gerald). Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-933-8482) on Friday April 21, 2023 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday April 22, 2023 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home.
