Robert "Pete" Goulet

GOULET, Gerald Joseph Robert “Pete” – Peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Monday May 19, 2014. He was 75. Loving husband of Cindy (Larose) Goulet and by previous marriage late Betty (Wilson) Goulet. Dear father of Robert (Becky) of Calgary and Christopher of Ottawa and step-father of Robert Larose, Shawn Larose (Kristin) and Patrick Larose (Anne). Cherished grandfather of Robert Junior (Laura), Michael Goulet of Cornwall and Samantha and Matthew Goulet of Ottawa and step-grandchildren Ayden, Emma and Quinn Larose. Also survived by 1 sister, Jeannette. Predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Lorrida (Carriere) Goulet, 3 sisters, Reina, Lorraine and Doris and one brother, Edgar. Pete was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Army and Navy Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Monday Night Bowling League at Nativity. He had a passion for golf and to spend time with his wife in Myrtle Beach. Pete had a way of making people laugh. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday 9:30-11 am. Funeral Service, Monday May 26, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am. Rite of Committal at a later date. Memorial Donations to the charity of choice appreciated.
