LAFLECHE-POIRIER, Shirley ~ surrounded by family at the St. Joseph Continuing Care on Saturday March 5, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Marcel Poirier and daughter of the late Adam and Orise (née Legault) Lafleche and by a late infant daughter Patricia.
Treasured mother of Gerald, Theresa (Bill) Woodburn, Lise Poirier (Rick Buttle), Ronald (Carole Bigras), Celeste Poirier (Martin Raymond) and Guy.
Shirley will be deeply missed by all her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
She will be sorely missed by her sister Melva Hart (late Pete) and her in-laws Father Gerald Poirier and Jeannine Roy-Poirier. Family was important to Shirley, which made her such a loving tender mother.
Predeceased by siblings Harvey (late Jean) and (late Eleanor), Roger (late Blanche) and (late Noella).
Visitation will be held at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 am. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
