Dear Betty and family, I met you and Steve in the summer of 2013 when my computer completely crashed days before my Master's thesis was due for submission. Steve was so very kind, encouraging and patient with me. He did a fantastic rush job to get my information back and bring my old computer back to life long enough to graduate. I recently returned to Canada after being away for a few years and wanted to pop by the shop to say hello and well, because he was just the best and I wanted to bring him some more work to do. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. He was really great and will be missed.

Betty - just found out that Steve is no longer with us.  We are very sorry for your loss I know how close you were.  You were a super nice couple who cared about your customers.  Will miss you both.

Betty, I'm sad to hear Steve has left us. He was a warm, friendly, and helpful guy. Dear Betty and family, The news of Steve's passing shook me to the core! I knew he was not feeling well the last time he came over to our home to get that computer back on track. He was a wonderful person and spoke lovingly of his wife and daughters and his garden. He would often show up at our home well after 10 pm because he had "told me he would be here" and he never let me down. Our community has certainly lost an amazing person. My brother Steve was the best brother anyone could possibly have.  He loved unconditionally, was full of humour and kept family first.  The inner child was never far from the surface as he easily related to children of any age.  The tears I shed with his passing are ones created by the most wonderful memories of joy, shared sadness, celebration, and sharing many life experiences growing up.
